The Carrera RS is a lightweight, track-focused variant of the iconic 964 generation built to homologate Porsche’s racing efforts. Powered by the legendary “Metzger” naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-six engine, the 911 Carrera RS delivers a uniquely visceral, analog driving experience and is considered to be among the most coveted air-cooled Porsche 911 models.

For weight savings, it was designed with thinner glass, reduced sound insulation, aluminum body panels, and an austere interior cabin. It features stiffer suspension over its standard road-going variant, adjustable front/rear sway bars, Bilstein aluminum shock absorbers, upgraded brake system, and a limited-slip differential. Options include a 24.3 gallon fuel tank, Blaupunkt radio, and fog lights.

This RS began life in Europe and was kept as part of a larger collection of special Porsche’s before it was imported to the US where it has remained in proper collector ownership. It has never seen track or motorsport use, and has remained in exceptional, original condition from new. We are pleased to offer the opportunity to acquire this investment-grade, collector owned 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera RS. It is accompanied by its history file, books, tools, and original spare wheel.
