The 1959 Austin-Healey 3000 BT7 Mk I represents the moment the Healey evolved into a true high-performance British sports car. Powered by a robust 2.9L inline-six cylinder engine producing approximately 124 horsepower, the BT7 introduced front disc brakes and a more refined driving experience while retaining the analog, mechanical character that defines the marque. Its 2+2 seating, purposeful cockpit, and classic roadster proportions made it equally suited to spirited touring and competition use, where the model enjoyed notable success on the international rally circuit. Today, the BT7 Mk I is highly regarded for its balance of usability, performance, and timeless design, standing as one of the most desirable and authentic expressions of the Austin-Healey legacy.

The Austin-Healey 3000 on offer is a wonderful, driver quality example and is turnkey throughout. It was reported to have been cosmetically restored in Portland, Maine by Ed Pollard of AutoLab. Under previous ownership, its carburetors, camshaft, clutch, stainless steel exhaust, and updated leather interior were fitted. Today, this Healey is ready for immediate road or tour/rally use.
