The 1964 Porsche 356 SC represents the final and most refined evolution of the Porsche 356. As the performance-focused model in the later years of production, the SC featured a robust 1.6L flat-four engine producing 95 horsepower, significantly stronger than earlier variants, and paired it with improved disc brakes for sharper, more confident driving. Its lightweight body, classic curved bodywork, and precise handling embodied Porsche’s early engineering philosophy: simple, purposeful, and engaging. Today, the 356 SC is celebrated for its vintage charm and spirited performance, making it one of the most sought-after models among collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The 1964 Porsche 356 SC on offer was acquired under current ownership from the West Coast, before it was brought to Eastern Long Island to be enjoyed seasonally. It is exceptionally solid throughout. As an excellent older restoration, it is in lovely cosmetic condition which has stood the test of time. It has been maintained by a Porsche specialist and serviced regardless of use. We look forward to passing this 356 SC along to new ownership to be used and enjoyed.
